Ode to a DMV Employee.
O thou who carried my hopes and dreams on thy ample waddling rear,
My fair lady, with a few syllables of ebonics thou hast broken my spirit.
For I started my bananamobile in sanguine faith;
And soon, too soon, cut it off --
You heaved out of the passenger's seat --
I wept.
Your mythical pedestrian I did not perceive.
